You Don't Scare Me

Here is the mini Halloween kit I previewed. It contains 8 papers, 1 quick page, 2 frames and 15 elements. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Now I will start work on a Christmas kit. I am looking for a color palette inspiration. When I decide on it, I will give a preview.

I'm back with a new freebie

I have a nice little freebie for you. It is a quickpage made from my new upcoming kit "You Don't Scare Me". I hope to have this kit out by late September. It is size 12x12 in 300 dpi png format. For those of you new to digital scrapping, 12x12 is simply 12inch by 12 inch. PNG format means the framed sections are already cut out. All you need to do is place your photo underneath the quickpage and bing badda boom! Print it.

Birthday card

This is the card I made for my daughter's birthday. Her favorite colors right now are purple and fluorescent green.

CSD May Color Challenge

Here is my layout entry in the coolscrapdigital color challenge for May.  This month's kit was sponsored by Cocotounette Designs ~ May be grey.  As you probably already guessed, a color challenge is just what it sounds like.  We are given a grayscale kit along with a color scheme.  The objective is to create a layout using only your choice of graphics provided and recolored within the color scheme. They several other types of challenges all designed to expand your creativity.

April "Use It All" Challenge

This is my entry in the rakscrap Use It All Challenge for April.  Sundrop260 donated the kit we used.  The requirements are simply, a mini kit is provided and your layout must include each item in the kit.

 

I was trying to be a little creative with the elements and used the clouds as a label and as a border.  Isn't my granddaughter so cute.

April Color Challenge

EMS Arts supplied the gray scale mini kit for this month's challenge at coolscrapdigital.  The color pallet was Branching Hues by Design seeds.  I tried coloring a paper several hues then overlaying.  I really like these challenges, I learn something new each month.

I used a picture of my father for this one also.  I wanted to focus on big cluster/little cluster this challenge along with combining several hues on the same sheet of paper.  So, tell me what you like and what you have done differently. 

This is my creation in the coolscrapdigital scrap for a freebie contest for April.  This month we had Cocotounette's Red Bayou kit to work with. So what do you think?

A new contest, you know what that means, another freebie!  Here is my entry in the www.coolscrapsdigital.com March Quick Page challenge.  The kit we got to play with was Spring A Ling Ding Dong by Pmarie.  I had a lot of fun this month.  It is a great kit I could not decide which graphics to use.

Here is my entry in the RakScrap.com March Use It All Challenge.  The kit was donated by sundrops260.

We were given a sample of a kit and just as the name indicates, we were required to use each graphic.  I have recently starting entering challenges.  They are wonderful learning tools.  I especially love to see how others interpreted and use graphics differently then I.

In this challenge we were given a CU mix and basically had to create a scrapbooking component be it a frame, cluster, kit, quick page ect, user chooses.  I chose a mini kit because I am moving into designing my own kits.

Cup Cozy

I made this Master Shake cup cozy out of plastic canvas.  I saw a crocheted version but since I do not know how to crochet I opted for plastic canvas. It was quite easy, basic stitch a tube. I kinda satin stitched the cup rim. The face is painted on. Easy peasy.

Valentine's Day

I painted t-shirts for my grandbabies.  Haylee loves Dora so that was easy.  Payton is 6 months and doesn't really have any favorites yet.  I sat there staring at the blank shirt and thought I could have something crawling out of the pocket, and voila.  I haven't painted t-shirts since my children were little.  I use acrylic artist paint. Wash warm inside out of course and let air dry.
